Hi everyone! As the majority of you already know, we’ve moved all our “blogging” over to our fan page on Facebook. It’s just too time consuming to do multiple posts each day! Almost every day on Facebook we do a post – either with new products, sales, important store information, adoption information, etc. You don’t have to be a member of Facebook to view our fan page, although it’s more fun and interactive if you are :) Hope to see you over there!

We held our 2nd Annual Easter Party & Egg Hunt today here at 3 Dogs & a Chick and boy did we have fun! Over 100 dogs joined us with their Easter baskets, eager to fill them with freshly baked treats. 3 lucky pooches found our “golden eggs”, with gift certificates to the store hidden inside. We also had dogs and cats from Eglin Pet Welfare join us, in the hopes of finding their forever homes! Please contact Pet Welfare if you are interested in adopting one of them :)
Thanks to all our fun customers for supporting us and our events here at the shop. We had such a great time and hope you did as well! Wishing you a Happy Easter spent with friends and family, including the four legged variety!
Wow, what a beautiful spring day we had along the Emerald Coast today! Yes it was super windy but boy that sunshine felt good :) We had lots and lots of visiting dogs who were in for freshly made treats (bbq squirrels and peanut butter lobsters were the favorite!), doggie ice cream, new harnesses and leashes and all sorts of other fun things. We were able to snap a few photos of some of the visitors…enjoy!
3 Dogs & a Chick is now hiring! We are searching for independent, outgoing individuals who are passionate about customer service…and about dogs! If you are looking for part time work, have experience with or a desire to learn baking and have a flexible schedule (rotate days, evenings, weekends & special events), please stop by the shop for an application.

Check out this fun video of our customer Darley playing with her new eGGe toy. A super tough toy for super tough dogs! The eGGe is one of the coolest dog toys we’ve seen…More fun than any ball, this unique egg-shaped dog toy wobbles this way and that. The shape of the toy prevents the dog from picking it up and makes it as close to an indestructible toy as we’ve found. The eGGe also floats. If regular dog toys can’t quite drain the energy out of your ball-crazy dog, unleash the eGGe for a play experience the likes of which he has never experienced! (Also used with zoo animals…now that’s tough!)

Trinity is a sweet girl who was abused then seized by PAWS (Panhandle Animal Welfare Society). She would have been put to sleep but Underdogs rescue saved her. She is currently battling heartworms, and severe skin problems and is extremely underweight. She will also need her front left leg amputated when she gets well.
One of our wonderful customers is currently fostering her in their home. She is up for adoption and also needs donations to help with her costly treatment. Thursday, January 28th, 5-7pm – Whine & Cheese Happy Hour
Get out of the cold and join us inside 3 Dogs & a Chick for happy hour with a twist! Wine and cheese will be served to our 2 legged friends and “wine” & treats will be served to our furry friends. You have to see this doggie wine!
We will also be having a special sale throughout the store between 5-7pm. Hope to see you there!
Saturday, February 13th, 5-6pm – Love at the End of Your Leash – Singles Mixer
Are you looking for puppy love? We are hosting a fun singles mixer for single dog lovers and their canine companions, right in the courtyard at 3 Dogs & a Chick.
Owning or bringing a dog is not a necessary requirement to attend but loving a dog is. Single guests might not go home alone! Local rescue organization UnderDogs will be in attendance with adoptable dogs.

What a wonderful day we had today at 3 Dogs & a Chick! It was beautiful weather to host our annual Howliday Party, ornament station and cookie exchange. Thank you to PAWS (Panhandle Animal Welfare Society) and UnderDogs Rescue for bringing adorable adoptable dogs to our event. If you would like more information about the dogs you see here wearing orange vests, please contact the adoption groups by visiting their websites.

Mingle with other dogs and dog lovers at our Howliday Party!
We will have an ornament making station where you can personalize a gift for your furry friend. We will also have a holiday cookie showcase…for humans! Bake up your favorite holiday cookies, bring them to the party along with a copy of the recipe and taste your way through all the different cookies!
Adoptable animals from PAWS will also be in attendance. You can learn more about this wonderful local rescue group, get information about fostering and volunteering or add a faithful friend to your family just in time for the holidays!
