Wow, what a beautiful spring day we had along the Emerald Coast today! Yes it was super windy but boy that sunshine felt good :) We had lots and lots of visiting dogs who were in for freshly made treats (bbq squirrels and peanut butter lobsters were the favorite!), doggie ice cream, new harnesses and leashes and all sorts of other fun things. We were able to snap a few photos of some of the visitors…enjoy!

Darley & her eGGe
Check out this fun video of our customer Darley playing with her new eGGe toy. A super tough toy for super tough dogs! The eGGe is one of the coolest dog toys we’ve seen…More fun than any ball, this unique egg-shaped dog toy wobbles this way and that. The shape of the toy prevents the dog from picking it up and makes it as close to an indestructible toy as we’ve found. The eGGe also floats. If regular dog toys can’t quite drain the energy out of your ball-crazy dog, unleash the eGGe for a play experience the likes of which he has never experienced! (Also used with zoo animals…now that’s tough!)

Dogs of the Day
Today at 3 Dogs & a Chick, we were busy with lots of cute dogs who were in the mood to shop! Two extra special customers who came in were Chipper, who is celebrating his 2nd birthday, and Fonzi, a rescue dog who just got adopted today!
Chipping is waiting so patiently for his peanut butter birthday bone!
"Hey Mom, what do you think of my new bandana? Pretty handsome, huh?"
And then we had a fun visit with Fonzi. Two of my best friends, April & Justin (www.deadworry.com) just adopted Fonzi this afternoon from New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary in Niceville. He’s about 2 years old and probably a chihuahua/corgi mix. What a little sweetheart this guy is!
Fonzi left here with all the latest and greatest gear: a new Cozy Coat (snuggly warm fleece), Whole Earth Farms adult dog food, Gooby harness, recycled mountain climbing rope leash, bully sticks (already enjoying one in the shop, as you can tell) and lots of yummy 3 Dogs & a Chick treats. Wow, what a LUCKY dog!!! Thanks to April & Justin for saving a life by choosing to adopt!

Thanks from a Pirate
We just received the nicest thank you note in the mail today. What a lovely surprise! It was from Charlie, the lovable rescued Golden Retriever from up north. We’re lucky enough to call him a customer for a few months out of the year while his parents stay in warm & sunny Florida…..we wish we could keep him year round! :)

Sunday Visitors
We had lots of cute & friendly visitors in the shop today, even after the horrible rain started! Take a look at who was seen at 3 Dogs & a Chick…
Manny & Salty came by to pick up their complimentary gourmet treats and do some birthday shopping! They ordered a birthday cake, picked out a new toy, ate some doggie ice cream and sniffed all around the shop. They are so sweet!
Azar, the little cute puffball, came in to grab an Orijen trial bag for his doggie friend. Hope they liked this awesome food!
Odie came to pick up some Zukes Organic Bake treats, along with a bag of our freshly baked treats. He also showed off some great tricks like sit, speak, shake and down. What a good boy!
Tyson is a growing pitbull! (This is what he looked like 6 months ago) He was in to pick up some Grizzly Salmon Oil to keep his coat soft, shiny and healthy. As always, he was super friendly and willing to give lots of kisses :)
And finally we were visited by the lovely Rummy! She picked out a carob & peanut butter bat cookie, Nutty Monkey ice cream, Taste of the Wild dog food and some ArthriSoothe Gold for those achy joints. Rummy loves, loves, loves her ice cream! It was raining in the courtyard but she didn’t care one bit as she tucked into that ice cream.

Red Beard the puppy!
Meet Red Beard, puppy extraordinaire. What a sweetheart this 15 week old pitbull is! He had the entire store wrapped around his paw when he visited 3 Dogs and a Chick today. He picked out Crabby squeaky toy, a stuffed bone and some home-baked treats. He also loves his Orijen puppy food!

Look who paid us a visit yesterday at 3 Dogs & a Chick…Charlie Mack! Charlie is a laid back one year old cutie pie. Charle’s mom brought him in to get fitted for a new harness…doesn’t he look handsome? Nice to see you again Charlie! :)

Mr Paps and Lillie
Look who visited the shop yesterday, Mr Paps (aka Rio) and Lillie! Aren’t they adorable?! These cute little puppies were in shopping for military jackets, treats and a portable water dish. They ate, drank, played and shopped. What better way to spend your Sunday? :)

The Lovely Maggie
Okay, I know I’m not supposed to pick favorites…but one of my favorite customers is Maggie, the blue-eyed beauty from down the street. Donna and Jason are lucky enough to be guardians to this sweet girl and they are great parents! Here’s a cute video they shared with me of Maggie during one of her visits to our store.
Maggie also celebrated her birthday recently with some of her furry friends. Here’s photos of her (and Donna & Jason!) enjoying her freshly baked peanut butter cake. Looks like it was a hit! :)
